We cover equipment, techniques, gold history, places to go, and current legal and political issues relating to the use of Private& Public Lands. We will soon publish a monthly newsletter and have organized outings.
Our aim is to bring people together who enjoy all aspects of the hobby of Gold Prospecting.
To provide a gathering place for members and a monthly outing to enjoy the prospecting experience.
To teach those new to the hobby about:
The Prospecting Code of Ethics;
The proper use of equipment, and techniques for recovering targets;
Rules and regulations that affect our hobby, such as where one can and cannot hunt, and how to obtain permission for prospecting on private property;
How to preserve and display great finds.
To have fun, enjoy the outdoors, and meet other people with similar interests.
